In May of 2008, Plagio, with the support of DIRAC, held in the city of Paris the meeting of Chilean poets entitled “Sur” (“South”). The aim of this event was to promote Chilean youth poetry and integrate reflection on Latin-American cultural and social identity.
The meeting consisted of three days, during which seven Chilean poets shared their work through public readings. Readings took place at the famed Université Sorbonne, in the La Bellevilloise cultural center and at the Chilean Embassy in France.
To mark the event, Plagio edited a bilingual anthology of the poets.
